The Prediction Market Landscape
Forecasting platforms have grown significantly in the past few years, with participants able to predict everything from elections to current affairs.
This sector faced scrutiny under the previous administration. Yet it has found a more favorable environment during the Trump presidency.
Using confidential knowledge is a crime in the stock market, but there are fewer regulations in the prediction market industry.
An official representative for another major platform said their site "has clear rules against insider trading of any form."
